Bravissimo!

The Palm Beach Atlantic University College of the Arts is excited to announce the second annual Bravissimo chamber wind and percussion intensive. Bravissimo is designed for high school brass, woodwind, and percussion students looking to improve their individual musicianship, artistry, and collaborative skills in the chamber ensemble setting. Led by Director of Bands, Professor Sam Broomell, participants will perform exciting works ranging from classical to contemporary works by living composers. Activities include ensemble and sectional rehearsals, masterclasses, elective courses, and a public showcase at the end of the week. Topics such as active listening and response in the ensemble, improvisation, advocating for the composer through performance, suggestions for more effective practicing, and tips for pursuing music after high school will be explored. Participants will also have the opportunity to receive coaching and mentorship from current PBA music students.

A 50% Tuition Deposit is due within one week of receiving your acceptance notice. Tuition is due by May 15. This deposit will be applied to the total cost of tuition. (Deposits are non-refundable.)
