Science Camps

The Center for Integrative Science Learning will teach and inspire children in grades 1-12 (incoming – Fall 2025) to excel in and become passionate about STEM learning. A multi-disciplinary approach will be used in science using fun, unconventional approaches – this year’s theme will be Agriculture

The objective of this program is to increase students’ enthusiasm toward STEM learning and to realize that science is a fun and approachable subject with constant applications in their daily lives.

Science Camp (1st -5th)

Agriculture – June 9-13

Campers will explore agriculture from the ground up:  from soil and water to plants and animals and the nutrients and products they provide.  Hands-on activities will include chemistry, macroscopic and microscopic structures, biological life cycles, and applied engineering and physics.

Summer Science Institute (6th -12th)

Careers in Science – June 9-13

Students will explore the anatomy and physiology of plants, using them as models to understand the molecular and classical genetics behind agriculture.  Experiments will involve the chemistry and physics of soil and of plant and animal products.
